“Do right by the customer” - My unofficial motto for Mr. Drew Corely. Not only is Drew a great guy and an absolute pleasure to work with, but his integrity, strong work ethic, and careful attention to detail makes him [hands down] the go to guy in the industry. Drew took on the role of Design Lead and Contractor for a project to remodel our lobby and rooftop community rooms at Diamond Terrace (a high rise residential building in downtown SD). The HOA board hired Drew because of his passion and reputation for quality and customer service. We were NOT disappointed. His final design concept and finished product were met with rave reviews by the board and residents alike. His commitment and devotion to our project was exceptional! He exceeded all our expectations and always went above and beyond the call of duty. In an industry where most contractors will lie, cheat, and cut corners, Drew is truly a breath of fresh air. He has earned my respect and admiration, and I highly recommend him.

Building a new house from the ground up was my wife’s choice. I dreaded the entire project. Fortunately, we had Drew. He made an intimidating process an enjoyable one. He was a sounding board for my wife, and a calming influence on me. The best thing about him is the sense of pride and ownership that he takes in each project. He helped us create a 3500 sf. totally custom house that all three of us would be happy to live in.
Working with Drew has made this as enjoyable of an experience as it possibly can be. When my wife and I approach a fork in the road, Drew is always there to make certain that we stay on our original course. He understands who we are and what we want, and he has made certain that we don’t lose sight of that. Drew can articulate what you are trying to describe, making it fun and easy to design your dream home. He has the ability to understand our wants and needs, and take the necessary steps to protect us.
Working with Drew is fun. From the initial “dream storming” session of what our ideal house would have and look like, to the selection of the tradesman necessary to complete the project. I can not describe how confident we felt signing all of our contracts and agreements after knowing that Drew had broken them down bit by bit.
The Zen of Drew is never being afraid to say what you want and see if there is a way to work it out. He wants you to be happy in your home, not just today, but for as long as you live there. He helped us stay centered through this entire process. Having Drew as our construction liaison has truly made building our home, a dream come true.

As a neighbor of a construction project I was not looking forward to all of the dirt, hammering, noise, traffic, etc. However, as things turned out, I didn’t have just any developer next door to me, I had Drew Corley. He was incredibly sensitive to me and my family, as well as the rest of the neighborhood. He made every effort to minimize disruption and to start work late on the weekends. He even washed my car personally several times. He practiced gymnastics with my son and taught him yoga. Drew even left his project to pick my sick daughter up from school one day. He looked after my dog, my house, my children, and the entire neighborhood, for that matter.
Coming home everyday was something that I looked forward to. It was always a treat to see each day’s progress as I reached my driveway. Drew made a potentially negative and difficult process fun and comfortable. For that I am grateful, not to mention the improvement to the neighborhood in general.
Drew is an amazing person as well as a professionally successful developer. He not only personally inspects the work of the crews he hires, but he also gets out there and gets dirty. And let me tell you, dirty or clean that man is a hottie! So take it from me, I would definitely hire him to work on my house shirt on or off (but preferably off)! Drew is the type of guy that is all about business, but when everything is said and done, he remains a loyal friend.

Love my new Bathroom!!!. At some point in the property's past, a do-it-yourself owner with a lot more energy than know-how had a go at remodeling the upstairs bath, resulting in significant problems that became evident after I moved in. I knew I needed more than just a "patch job” and I wanted it done right. I asked Drew if he could gut the bathroom and start over. Drew came up with solid solutions to some of the surprise problems that always seem to come up in remodeling. It gives me great peace of mind to know that everything is now properly taken care of.
Drew's great aesthetic sense was a HUGE help to me in making choices all the way through. Coupled with his demand for perfection in the actual execution of the project, I couldn't be more pleased with the finished result!

I loved the work that was done and everything about the job. I have been in my home 33 years and am a very picky person. The ideas Drew gave me on the remodel were more than just a construction point of view but that of a designer. The project was mapped out and discussed to the tee... time lines, pricing, what to expect at each stage and any concerns on all aspects of the project. Any changes or additions along the way were welcomed and handled in the same professional manner. The entire job was supervised and each stage completed to perfection. It was a pleasure working with such a concerned team of contractors looking out for MY best interests. I could not be more pleased with the outcome, price and quality of the job. Everyday I enjoy my new construction. This also comes with some knowledge of the industry because my father was an architect. The job had to pass his inspection and did so with flying colors. I would recommend Drew and his team of professionals any day.

Drew went way above and beyond our expectations on the remodel of our home and we were thoroughly impressed with the results! He traveled to San Francisco to work on our 100+ year old Victorian home which needed LOTS of love. Our project included refinishing hardwood floors, replacing windows, repairing cracks, resurfacing plaster ceilings and walls, painting, installing electrical, replacing fixtures and installing cosmetic finishes throughout.
He assessed our vision and created a schedule and a list of materials to meet our modest budget and time requirements (60 days). He quickly identified and built relationships with local subcontractors and our neighbors to ensure all work was done with quality, respect and communication. He was professional, on time, on budget and a pleasure to work with!

I have known Drew for 15 years. During that time, he has traveled to three different cities to help me with various construction projects.
First, it was my home in Tempe, Arizona, where I acted as my own contractor. Long story short, it didn’t go well. Drew traveled from San Diego to come and bail me out. He made all of the little things that no one else would show up for so easy to complete. His suggestion to add a closet in one of my rooms generated extra value for me when I later sold my house. He worked crazy hours to meet my deadline and his craftsmanship looked like he had all the time in the world.
Apparently having not learned my lesson the first time, I moved to Portland, Oregon where I then once again chose to general my own home-improvement project. This one was even more extensive than the other one. Again, I found myself with the days, weeks, and months going by, yet my sub-contractors were not performing their duties. All of my cash was wrapped up in the project. The house was still in ruins, and would not appraise. Like a knight in shining armor, Drew packed up his tools and came to Portland. Within no time at all, he was either successful in getting my subs to perform, or he simply performed their tasks for them. He made the house whole and got me out of another hole.
The third time I just called Drew. Fortunately, I was now living in Los Angeles, CA. I was creating a start-up boat business. I needed to move quickly and inexpensively. Drew was in the middle of building 3 row houses and coaching construction for another house that was being filmed for a television show. I still don’t know how he fit my project in. He spent days in the car driving from site to site advising me on which spaces would work and not work. He was quick and masterful in choosing a design and paint scheme that would cater to my client base, the boating industry, and to our specific location.
His skills in networking and relating to other construction trades in any city is impressive.
Drew is so talented and amazing to work with. He creates value in everything that he touches, and he travels.

Dear Drew,
I want to thank you for designing and building a house that is beautiful, functional, but most of all provides a calm haven to live in.
I don’t know how to explain it, but the combination of design, quality of materials and workmanship create an ease of flow and functionality that make my house a sanctuary. I look forward to coming home every day.
It has been a pleasure working with you in the purchase of the home as well as completing the finishing details. I feel I have a new friend and I hope we will always keep in touch.

Drew took the house that we moved into and turned it into our home. His vision is all-encompassing, taking into account the aesthetic, as well as the sensory presentation; that is to say, how a space makes you feel when you are in it, which is influenced by the colors, shapes, details, and so on. Drew thinks about all of those things so you don't have to. The best part is he does it with equal parts love and professionalism, with solid work ethic mixed in. Our master suite, which was the most significant part of our project, is a truly beautiful space -- it is a functional, comfortable, and earthy haven that inspires without trying too hard. It's the perfect space for a wide variety of activities, including reading the Sunday paper, doing yoga headstands, and getting ready for work. It's a testament to his work that nearly every visitor to our home wants to take a shower in the upstairs bathroom he remodeled for us -- it's an experience not to be missed. Thank you, Drew, for creating such a wonderful space for us.

I'm the kind of guy who likes to do things myself. If that means hurting myself or screwing things up once or twice to get the job done, that's fine. I don't really like it much when people try to help me or tell me what to do. Somehow Drew figured out a way to teach me a thing or two about construction. Perhaps, it was that we had completely destroyed our house, we had huge holes in the walls, no hot water, no heat, and dust was everywhere.
His emphasis on job safety and organization was something that seemed silly at first and in the end made everything go more smoothly. We had lots of inexperienced people on our construction site, and NO serious injuries.
Aside from Drew's excellent coaching, he did a great job at negotiating with our sub- contractors. He was really good at picking apart the bids and helping us to choose the best supplier. We clearly benefited from his relationships in the industry that he has been building for years.
I know that I could have built my house without Drew, but duct tape and cardboard aren't weather resistant. Seriously, the project wouldn't have gone so smoothly, and who knows what it would have looked like. Sometimes we all need a little coaching, and Drew Construction knows construction.

Undertaking a 500 SF addition with a 500 sf roof-top deck, a 1000 sf outdoor living room, and kitchen remodel was an overwhelming task. Especially with a tight budget, and limited construction experience.
Luckily we found Drew-Construction. Drew was professional, knowledgeable, and committed to our project from the beginning. Navigating the permit and inspection process can be a daunting task, but with Drew’s guidance and experience we were able to pass all but one inspection the first time, as well as develop a great working relationship with our city inspector.
Drew’s depth of knowledge for building, and devotion to our project made all the difference in the world. With his help we met our budget and finished our house on time! Drew’s creative design work reached far beyond our architectural drawings and resulted in a home that has exceeded our dreams.

Drew Corley was able to balance the demands of three different home owners very well. I myself was extremely conscious of our project having a minimal negative environment impact. Drew did an excellent job to help three home owners see the long term value (both environmental and economic), in making wise choices dealing with HVAC, tank-less water heater, appliances, low-VOC paint, insulation, rain collection, recycling of demolition materials, and the list goes on.
Drew went way beyond the call of duty during the construction of our home. Moreover, he was effective in helping us to make choices that resulted in staying far below our budget constraints.
